Research and Designs (28/03/2022)


To summarise my research from the past week, I have been considering my game's target audience and what visual styles I am interested in, which I may follow in my game.

At the start of the week, I created an initial sprite for my game's main character. They will wield both magic and a melee weapon to help them in combat. Their design is rather simple, but with a distinct hat.  

I also uploaded my initial ideation of the profile. I even created a design for the main villain of this game's story, who has a contrasting red colour scheme to the main character's blue. It's a rather tropey character design, but I feel it works. It's the universal indicator of 'good' and 'evil'.
