Enemies

In a fight, you can expect yourself to face off against a maximum of 5 enemies at a time.

Above an enemy is their health bar, and to the right of this health bar is one of the icons for one of the six elements.

I have designed two enemies for my game.

One is a lowly goblin, the most basic enemy to fight in the game. They hang around the forests, towns, hills - everywhere, really. They wield pitchforks with which to combat the player. They are of the void element, as they are evil creatures.

They are stronger in numbers, and gain a bonus effect of +10% damage done when with an ally goblin. This percentage goes up 5% for every extra goblin above 2.

The next enemy I have created is a cave monster. This will be a boss creature. They, as the name suggests, dwell in the depths of caves. They have sharp claws with which to attack the player, and a poisonous bite if the player gets a little too close.

They come in one of three elements. Some are fire, some are ice, and the strongest are of the void element.

Fire cave monsters will afflict the player with burning upon a critical hit. Burning does damage over time, in this case a hit every second, of 25% of the initial hit's damage over 5 seconds.

Ice cave monsters will afflict the player with frostbite upon a critical hit. Frostbite also does damage over time, here a constant draining of health for 5 seconds. It drains health at a rate of 5% of the player's health every second.

Void cave monsters are simply especially strong - they have a higher health pool, do stronger attacks, and their poison can come from their claws as well. Poison drains the player's health 2% for 10 seconds.
